Fruit picking in Lampang district brings in families from outside the province for weeks or months at a time. Their contribution is the reason the harvest exists at this scale, and it is rarely acknowledged.
This day is built around that fact: you work with the families, you eat with them, and the programme pays what the picking pays.
It is physical work that pays by the kilo. The rate and the arrangement must be confirmed before booking, and a guest who cannot keep up will not be counted in the total.
